Biography
He graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, NOVA University Lisbon, in 1981, and is a specialist in General and Family Medicine, registered with the corresponding college of the Portuguese Medical Association and holding the grade of Assistente Graduado (senior specialist). He completed postgraduate training at the Lisbon Civil Hospitals (Santa Marta, São José and Dona Estefânia), Faro District Hospital and the Algarve Regional Health Administration, as well as a postgraduate course in Human Longevity Sciences and Applied Hormonal Physiology in São Paulo, Brazil. For the past 30 years he has dedicated himself to obesity and weight loss consultations and to anti-aging medicine, with a particular focus on hormonal modulation with bioidentical hormones.
