What happens at the first consultation?

Acute illness
Diagnosis and treatment of health problems that come on suddenly, such as infections or pain. The doctor assesses your symptoms and recommends the right treatment.
Chronic conditions
Ongoing care for long-term conditions such as high blood pressure or diabetes. This includes medication reviews, monitoring tests and adjustments over time.
